By far the most awful birthday party out of about 16 that I've hosted across 2 continents.We arrived 10 mins prior to our slot, as instructed and around 4 people just ignored/walked straight past us without any acknowledgment. We were clearly there for the party as we had balloons cake etc in our hands.I then made myself known and was sent into the party room where the children were due to eat. The tables were filthy, debris all over them and we had to clean them ourselves (which makes me wonder why I paid a cleaning fee?) Luckily I had a table cloth to cover the table as it was not suitable for eating from as it was.The premises itself was much smaller than expected for 11yr olds, it was just a room with a bunch of tents and the lights off. The guns were extremely basic. I could have set the same thing up at home. I specifically asked if it was engaging enough for 11 yr olds and was repeatedly reassured by Blessie that it was.Maybe it'd be fine for younger children but quite underwhelming and somewhat embarrassing when I told my husband how much I had paid for the experience.Nonetheless the children seemed to have a good enough time but it was in spite of the completely uninterested party hosts (2 of them) - neither of them smiled even once or made an effort to engage the children, it seemed like mindless shouting of instructions and they looked as if they didn't want to be there.Safety is also a clear issue, because you have a room filled with pop up tents which aren't secured to the floor, we had 2 separate incidents where the children slipped on the tents which were laid horizontally and fell, one hurting her mouth and another her knee. Neither party host came to check if they were ok after taking such big falls (they did see, they just saw me run over so left me to deal with it) and even if they did come over I'm not convinced they would know what to do if faced with an injury.I'm really sorry to say that the only positive experience was during the booking process and because when 11yr old children get together they can make their own fun regardless of the circumstances.When I gave feedback to the company itself they weren't bothered and didn't address any safety concerns after giving them a considerable amount of time to consider my experience.I'd avoid not only this experience itself but the company in its entirety because they don't give a crap.
