How To Make Candles
Do you love candles, but don't love the price tags? Me too! That's why I love candle making. Not only is it a fun activity, but it also saves me money in the long run. In this blog post, we will discuss 5 different ways that you can make DIY candles. From simple types of candles such as spring scented soy candle to summer lemon soy candle, we will show you the basic guide on how to make candles! So gather up your supplies and let's get started!
Spring Scented Soy Candle
What to prepare:
- Scented candle wax
- Candle wick
- Menthol
- Lemon essential oil
- Lavender essential oil
- Glass container
How to do:
- Fill the steamer with water and bring it to a boil. Melt the wax in the steamer. Alternatively, you may use a glass or porcelain bowl instead of the metal container. Fill a saucepan halfway with water and set it on heat. The wax is then placed in a glass or porcelain bowl and the water is heated in the saucepan, making sure it doesn't come into contact with the candle container.
- After the candle has completely melted, fill the bottom of the glass container with a small amount of wax.
- Place 10 drops of peppermint essential oil, 10 drops of lemon essential oil, and 10 drops of lavender essential oil in a container. Mix thoroughly.
- Combine all of the above ingredients in a glass container and allow it to dry.
Summer Lemon Soy Candle
What to prepare:
- Soy wax
- Candle wick
- Lemon essential oil
- Cedarwood essential oil
- Grapefruit or orange essential oil
- Glass container
How to do:
- Soy wax should be melted.
- To fasten the wick to the glass container, use a small amount of melted wax.
- Add 10 drops of cedarwood, 15 drops of lemon, and 15 droplets of grapefruit or orange essential oil to the melted wax mixture and mix thoroughly.
- Pour the contents into a glass container, and chill with the aroma.
Autumn Pumpkin Scented Candle
What to prepare:
- Soy wax
- Candle wick
- Ginger essential oil
- Nutmeg essential oil
- Clove essential oil
- Cinnamon oil
- Glass container
How to do:
- Soy wax should be melted.
- To attach the candle wick to the glass container's bottom, use some melted wax.
- Add 5 drops of ginger, 10 drops of nutmeg, 10 drops of cloves, and 15 drops of cinnamon essential oil to the wax and mix thoroughly.
- Pour the brew into a glass container, allow it to dry, and enjoy your reward!
Magical Winter Candle
What to prepare:
- Soy wax
- Candle wick
- Orange essential oil
- Winter or Christmas essential oil blend
- Glass container
How to do:
- Melt soy wax
- Melt some wax and apply it to the wick of the candle.
- Fill a small jar or container with the melted wax and add 10 drops of orange oil and 20 drops of winter or Christmas essential oil to it.
- Pour the mixture into your glass container.
Flower Candle
What to prepare:
- Soy wax
- Candle wick
- 4 sprigs of dried lavender
- Rose essential oil
- Neroli essential oil
- Glass container
How to do:
- In a container, heat the soy wax until it liquefies.
- To keep the wick in place, use a tiny amount of melted wax to attach it to the bottom of the candle jar.
- Pour about 1/4 teaspoon of melted wax into the jar while it is on its side with the candle jar.
- Place the lavender stem on top of the wax, with the flower adhering to the jar. 3 more times around the vase to ensure that the flowers are visible.
- Pour the wax into the jar, then add lavender and neroli essential oils.
